i want to ask that like we save an html file with an extension .htm or .html if we are writing an xml code in notepad then with which extension to save it??? .html or .xml ????

I opened an xml file with notepad and saved it as utf-8. When i tried to open the file saved as utf-8, i get an error message. I do not have XP but Vista….can somebody guide me and let me know if i am doing something wrong?..by the way i am a translator.

What program can read XML so that you can actually read it easily? (Not notepad) I don’t want to edit the code or else I would just use Notepad++. I said I want to actually read it, not see the source code..

i have searched tons of videos, and you have to copy a code into notepad, and save it as greenscreen.xml. it wont save as an xml file!
