Help, Recover deleted .xml files ! How to recover them ?
I’ve deleted a couple of .xml files on 5th jan ’08. After using a recovery programme, I could not open the files at all. Does anyone know how I can open the files, which program I can use to read these files. Please, its urgent.. I tried using MS Excel, Notepad, WordPad, MS Word, but I could not open the files at all. What’s wrong ? Please help.
How can I change an XML page into something I can read?
I have an important message history that was somehow changed from a normal message I could read into something called XML. The only way I can read it is through wordpad and with that it has all the other junk along with the words so is very hard to read. This is the message I get: Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the refresh button or try again later. I have no idea how to fix the "error" but it is extremely important I be able to access this information and print it out in something I can read. Can you help me using language I can understand….my computerese language skills are limited…hope you can help me…it is very important…Debbie
How can I edit a characters name in a PC video game. It is written in XML.?
I also have files – FDP – FDS – TGA – NIF – KF. I am not familiar with how to edit any of these files. My intent is to change only the name of a few characters. What editor software can I use? So far the only file that I could edit was FDS with a text program (notepad). Thanks for any help.
I can open the files with notepad or wordpad but there are thousands of characters/symbols that I assume are programming language. I have no idea how to decipher them. Is there a way to convert?
What’s the best way to work with and create xml files?
I have to edit and work with XML files (a program that I’m creating input files for) and I haven’t ever worked with this format before. I have to do quit a lot of work with XML so I’m wondering if I should use notepad, wordpad or some other editor. I don’t want this to be a big hassle for me to complete so I’m looking for a "best" solution; a freeware, shareware or other program that somebody has experience working with that handles XML easily and is simple and intutive to use. Free is great but I’ll even pay if I can find something that’s really simple and saves me a lot of time.
