What’s the best way to test an xml text file?

Wondering if particular characters (@,., ; "$, – &) will give an unexpected result?

yes they will! if your broswer can open the xml file, it’s OK!

there are lots of special programs… but the best one is the one you already have!

XML is very strict, so if there’s anything it doesn’t like, it’s gonna throw up. There’s some XML validators out there, but usually the browser can handle it. If there’s something wrong, it’s gonna point you to it, it’s just that the error message it displays doesn’t always help to tell what the error is.
